Courier Lab Technician

Courier Duties

• Pick up and deliver samples from clients project sites and field staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation labeling and chain-of-custody procedures during transport.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs records of cargo or billing statements in accordance with company regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal staff regarding scheduling and deliveries.

Laboratory Technician Duties

• Receive log and prepare samples for analysis according to established protocols.
• Assist analysts with routine testing preparation and basic instrumentation tasks.
• Perform data entry documentation and quality control checks to maintain accurate records.
• Follow all safety procedures quality standards (AIHA NVLAP ELAP etc.) and laboratory SOPs.
• Support inventory management and general laboratory upkeep.

Qualifications :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED Required
• Valid Drivers License Required
• Clean driving record Required

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Is punctual reliable and exercises good judgment
• Ability to interact with clients as a responsible representative of the company

ADDITIONAL KSAS

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast paced highly professional environment.

VISION REQUIREMENT 

• Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less) Required
• Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet/6 meters or more) Required
• Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given post) Required
• Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision ability to judge distance and three-dimensional relationship) Required
• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) Required
• Ability to see color Required
