The College is seeking to appoint an exceptional primary teacher to join our Regis Campus which caters for approximately 200 young boys across Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6). In collaboration with the Head of Regis colleagues and parents our teachers of Year 5 and 6 have the responsibility for the academic pastoral social and spiritual well-being for the students in their homeroom.
The position is full-time (1.0 FTE) ongoing commencing 20 January 2026.
ABOUT YOU:
The successful applicant will:
- accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW.
- be an outstanding classroom teacher of Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6)
- possess excellent communication skills and easily form positive relationships
- exhibit superb organisational skills allowing you to cooperatively plan with other teachers to manipulate and interpret school data from a range of sources
- demonstrate experience in implementing Positive Behaviour learning systems in a primary school context to manage student behaviour
- have a high level of skill in planning organising implementing and supporting engaging classroom programs that align with best practice 21st Century pedagogy
- be committed to collaborative teaching and learning practices to increase student engagement particularly in a stage 3 context
- proven ability to bring about successful outcomes in all key learning areas with exemplary expertise in English and Mathematics
- demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
- demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College
- be willing to contribute to the co-curriculum programs at the College
- hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety welfare and well-being of children and young people.
