We provide secure high-quality language access in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.

We are seeking Vietnamese Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Vietnamese is a priority Southeast Asian language often required for immigration asylum and naturalization interviews.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time Vietnamese English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews hearings and official proceedings.
Interpret with accuracy neutrality and professionalism in immigration and legal contexts.
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
Participate in training compliance refreshers and quality assurance reviews.

Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Vietnamese and English.
2 years of professional interpreting experience (immigration legal community or government preferred).
Familiarity with interpreter ethics confidentiality and cultural awareness.
Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
