Financial Planning Analysis Manager (80-100%)

As a private consulting and platform organization working on behalf of the Confederation and the cantons with around 200 employees and more than 3000 partners worldwide S-GE supports its customers with their international business development in more than 130 countries each year. S-GE has its own teams (Swiss Business Hubs SBHs) in approximately 45 countries. The Swiss Business Hubs are integrated into the diplomatic missions of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).
For our Zurich office we are seeking a resource to start on a mutually agreed date:
Financial Planning Analysis Manager (80-100%) - Fixed Term for one year.
Your Duties
- Overall responsibility for ensuring financial and operational planning and analysis across the entire company
- Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process as well as for detailed analyses and planning of key cost areas such as personnel expenses and project controlling
- Preparation of quarterly reports for the Executive Management team and the Board of Directors in collaboration with the Director of Financial Services and the Financial Accounting Manager
- Participation in various strategic and operational projects with a focus on data analysis and interpretation
- Primary responsibility for the proper functioning and continuous development of the planning tool Talentia together with the external system provider
Your Profil
- Qualified education in finance with a focus on controlling financial planning and analysis
- 4-8 years of professional experience in a similar role ideally gaind in an international environment
- High IT affinity and confident handling of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations)
- Knowledge of the planning tool Talentia (or an equivalent software) is a strong advantage and excellent Excel and BI skills are a must have
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinker with a distinct hands-on mentality and a passion for working with data
- Engaging collaborative personality with the ability to work effectively across functions
- Fluency in German (near-native level C1- C2) and excellent command of English (C1)
