Job Summary
MUSC Health at Home by BAYADAis currently seeking an experiencedPhysical Therapy Assistant PTA for a per diem opportunityperforminghome health visits.This office services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout the Florence/Marion SC area.
What youll do:
As an MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA Physical Therapy Assistant youll use your clinical skills and compassionate heart to treat patients where they want to be the most in the comfort of their own home.
- See a client through their care needs from hospital discharge to living a safe home life with comfort independence and dignity.
- Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment tests client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy - PT care plan and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Have current licensure or certification in the state of SC
- Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association as indicated by school transcript or diploma or
- Have two years of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31 1977
- Have at least one years work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
