Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Roaming Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd shift (typical hours are 3:00 PM 1:00 AM Monday through Thursday). In this role you will be responsible for inspecting both in-process and finished goods to ensure they meet internal and customer specifications. You will play a key role in helping maintain SMTs high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of in-process parts and finished products across the facility
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work instructions to verify product conformance
Accurately document inspection results and report any non-conformities
Work closely with production personnel to resolve quality issues
Support continual improvement efforts in quality processes
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a quality inspection role is required
Previous experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role is preferred
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced changing environment
Proficiency with common inspection tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges etc) preferred
