Job Summary

About the Role:
This position is for a Class Action Attorney with 1 to 2 years of litigation experience ideally with exposure to complex or class action matters. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely but requires active licensure in California. The attorney will work on impactful class action cases involving consumer rights employment law and other large-scale civil litigation gaining hands-on experience in all phases of case development and strategy within a collaborative and fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing class action cases from pre-filing investigation through resolution.
Draft and review pleadings motions discovery requests and settlement documents.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare memoranda on complex issues.
Support senior attorneys in depositions mediations and hearings.
Organize and analyze large discovery productions and evidentiary materials.
Communicate effectively with clients co-counsel and expert witnesses.
Contribute to strategic planning and case development for high-impact litigation.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
1 to 2 years of litigation experience preferably in class action or complex civil litigation.
Excellent legal research writing and analytical abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with employment wage and hour or consumer protection class actions.
Familiarity with California state and federal court rules and procedures.
Proficiency with e-discovery tools and litigation management software.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a litigation team.
Commitment to advancing justice through class action and complex litigation.
