Job Summary

Job Purpose -Design and develop Human Resource plan to support effective functioning of the Unit. Plan and ensure all HR systems and people processes (Industrial Relation Recruitment employee development.) are implemented. Also develop and promote effective networking / relations with labour authorities in the province.

Job Context -

Drive HR portfolio and deliver the activities and results to improve the employee and organizational performance and capabilities as planned. The plant was established in 1978 at Angthong Province Thailand with an initial capacity of 16000 TPA. To cater to the increasing demand of Tyre Industry local as well as overseas markets the capacity has been gradually increased through de-bottlenecking and expansion over the years.

Major customers are multinational tyre companies such as Bridgestone Michelin Goodyear Yokohama Rubber etc. located in Thailand Japan and other Asian countries.

Our Client has a strong union the job entails ensuring a progressive industrial relations. Ensure all employees are motivated and engaged Create best practices in HR Ensure Succession Plan in place for critical positions Institutionalize Job Rotation and Multi-skilling at the Unit Improve employee productivity with manpower optimization. Ensure progressive relation with Govt Agency and Community

Compensation:

Monthly aroundbaht plus variable bonus and other benefits like insurance PF etc

Candidate should have

15 20 years experience in manufacturing

Should come with atleast 5 years experience of heading HR for a big size plant

Can lead and manage teams ( team size of 6 people)

Should have managed labour unions wage negotiations disciplinary matters ( this is a must).

Should have managed legal cases

Has all around experience in entire gamut of HR processes staffing talent management training compensation

Can manage/ build relationships with community labour officials

Key skills

Good English communication

Good at negotiations and building networks

Can drive and lead teams

Understanding of labour laws

Had good legal acumen

Can drive execution very well.
