Our client an international company providing integrated engineering construction and mining services is seeking to hire a Procurement Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare process control and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and contracts until goods and/or services are fully delivered to the requesting project.
- Coordinate closely with the Procurement Group Logistics and Project Management Group to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Support the company in implementing good practices in line with QCDSM (Quality Cost Delivery Safety and Morale) standards within the Supply Chain Management process.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with business ethics and company procedures
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in any discipline
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in an EPC or mining company
- Demonstrates the highest level of integrity with a strong sense of commercial awareness
- Possesses a positive attitude strong adaptability and initiative
- Highly independent reliable and self-motivated
- Able to work effectively under high pressure and tight deadlines and willing to relocate to any site as required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
