About the Role
Step into a hands-on high-energy role within our passionateEquipment Engineering Team where your work directly contributes to the manufacturing and assembly of our cutting-edge machinerydesigned and built in Australia and deployed across our global sites.Working hours are6.30am-3.30pmMonday- Friday. This is a full- time salaried role with NO overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing and assemblyof our automated sharps processing systems
- Fabricate components formachine servicing and spare parts
- PerformTIG weldingon light and heavy gauge stainless steel
- Read and interpretengineering drawingsto bring designs to life
- Construct final systems from sub-assemblies with precision and care
- Upholdhigh standards of qualityand safety
- Collaborate with a team that values innovation learning and excellence
Experience Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A self-starter with a solid work ethic and a great sense of humour
- Able to follow procedures and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who thrives both independently and in a team setting
- Previous experience in a Fitting role (minimum 3 years preferred)
- TIG welding certification preferred or willingness to undertake certification training
- Trade qualification in Engineering Mechanical Fitter or equivalent (Certificate III level preferred but not essential)
- Australian work rights or valid work visa required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a manufacturing environment with standing for extended periods
