Audiologist

Our client has been serving their community for over one hundred years and is one of the largest major public health systems. We are looking for qualified Dietitians who want to make a difference in their community. We have multiple opportunities available.

Job Responsibilities:

Examine patients with ear hearing or balance and other related problems.
Assess exam results and diagnose the patient.
Determine the best course of treatment taking the patients needs and concerns into consideration.
Fit and dispense hearing aids.
Provide counseling for the patient and close family members on how to best listen and communicate using methods such as lip reading or technology.
Evaluate and follow up on the patients condition and record any developments.
Educate patients on ways to prevent hearing loss.
Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.

Requirements:

1 year of Relevant Experience -Preferred
Pediatric Experience - Required
Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Current for a Minimum of 90 Days After the Hire Date.
Minimum of a Masters Degree in Audiology
Currently Licensed in the State of Florida as an Audiologist or Willingness to Obtain Prior to Relocating.
