| Job Description: | Project Coordination The Special Projects Coordinator will participate in foundational strategic and operational initiatives at the direction of the Chief Operating Officer. Some examples of the duties are: Implement and coordinate multiple administrative research and operational projects. Support project managers with financial operational and research-related tasks. Contribute to the development of project management best practices tools and standard operating procedures. Research and analyze issues that may hinder project progress and identify resources for resolution. Create comprehensive project plans including timelines milestones and deliverables. Support adherence to institutional regulatory and funding requirements in project execution.
Research Conduct market research for trend identification strategy development and planning. They will draft reports executive summaries and presentations based on research data analysis and financial projections. They will also draft and maintain process documentation to support consistency across projects. Coordinate and manage as needed and directed in support of strategic initiatives as they relate to data and reports. This may include collecting/collating information supplying data running/requesting reports and other duties as assigned.
Administration Serve as a point of contact on the administrative team in the Fixel Institute in furtherance of the institutes mission. They will assist with developing strategic and business plans for institution priorities and also coordinate logistics for strategic planning sessions workshops and stakeholder meetings ensuring actionable follow-up.
Communication Support special marketing and communications projects for the institute and affiliated laboratories. They will assist with updating website structure and content including faculty profiles think tank resources and new/blog posts. They will develop dashboards infographics and other visual tools to communicate project progress and outcomes. |

| Preferred: | - Masters degree in Business Administration Public Health Project Management or a related field. - Two or more years of relevant experience in project coordination administration or healthcare operations. -Experience in academic medical center research institute or higher education environment. -Formal training or certification in project management (e.g. CAPM Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent coursework). -Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects in healthcare research or higher education settings. -Commitment to professional growth in healthcare leadership and project management. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information collaborate with diverse teams and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Demonstrated ability to work in a confidential environment handling sensitive information with discretion integrity and adherence to privacy regulations and university policies. |
