The Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) protects the public by preparing court-involved youth to be successful citizens. We are hiring an Education Credentialing Specialist to ensure all teachers administrators and educational staff hold appropriate valid licenses certifications or endorsements required by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) or other relevant agencies. Collaborate with the HR department to support recruitment efforts by identifying candidates who meet the required licensure and credentialing standards. Assist in reviewing applicant credentials and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for consideration during the hiring process. This role ensures compliance with state and institutional requirements maintains accurate credentialing records and provided excellent services to educators administrators and stakeholder throughout the entire process.
