Job Summary
Pay Range:
$18.50 - $26.83A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.
HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN plays an important role in the clinic setting by performing various clinical and administrative tasks to assist patients through their healthcare journey. LPNs assist in planning and managing patient care according to each patients needs and furthering the mission of the organization by providing high-quality respectful care to all.

oDepartment: Family Medicine
oCore Function: Medical Assistant
oSchedule: Monday-Friday. 40 Hrs/Wk.; 8:45am-5:15pm
oFacility: Family Internal Medicine
oClinic Location: Decatur IL
oSign On Bonus: $10000

HSHS Medical Group is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA). Ideal candidates are patient focused mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a primary care ambulatory setting responsible for rooming and assessment of patients preparing examination rooms and coordination of care. Ideal candidates will have more than 2 years of MA experience.

oCore Function: Medical Assistant
oSchedule: Monday-Friday. 40 Hrs/Wk.; 8:45am-5:15pm
oFacility: Family Internal Medicine
oClinic Location: Decatur IL
oSign On Bonus: $5000

LPN Requirements
Education Qualifications
- Completion of State Approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Training Program is required.
Experience Qualifications
- 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
- Licensed as Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
OR
MA II Requirements
Education Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required.
Graduate from accredited medical assistant program with coursework in pharmaceuticals and medicine administration practicum or 1 year of medical assistant experience required.
Experience Qualifications
2 years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
Medical Assistant (MA) Certification/Registration required or must be obtained within 90 days of start date from one of the following credentialing organizations:
1. Certified MA from American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
2. Registered MA from American Medical Technologists (AMT)
3. National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
4. Certified Clinical MA (CCMA) from National Healthcare Association (NHA)
5. Registered MA from American Allied Health (AAH)
6. Nationally Registered CMA (NRCMA) from National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
7. Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) or Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) from American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
8. Podiatric MA Certified (PMAC) from American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA)
9. Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) from International Joint Commission on Allied Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO)Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required within 60 days of hire.
