We are seeking a Lead Opticianto:
- Oversee and mentor Optical staff.
- Provide direction coaching and motivate staff to achieve objectives and provide excellent patient care.
- Assist patients with selecting the right fit shape style of eyewear and dispense contact lenses.
- Perform eyeglasses repairs and adjustments.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required and
- Completion of an accredited Optician Vision Care Program Preferred and
- Some continued education courses Preferred
Work Experience
- Computer experience Required
- Previous eye care experience Required
- Minimum 1 year or more supervisory or leadership experience Required
- 1 or more years optician experience Preferred
- Lab training or experience Preferred
- Contact lens training or experience Preferred
- Optical lab experience and/or optometric technician experience Preferred
- 1 or more years of work experience with processing insurance claims Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Obtain ABO Certification within 18-months or three (3) testing periods from the date of hire and maintain the certification within 1-1/2 Yrs Required
- American Board of Opticianry (ABO) Certification and/or National Contact Lens (NCLE) Certification Preferred
