We deliver secure high-quality language solutions in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.

We are seeking Quechua Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Quechua spoken by millions across the Andes (Peru Bolivia Ecuador Colombia Argentina) is a rare but high-priority indigenous language often needed in asylum and immigration interviews.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time Quechua English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers applicants and stakeholders.
Interpret accurately impartially and professionally in immigration legal and asylum contexts.
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
Participate in training compliance refreshers and quality assurance audits.

Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Quechua (any dialect) and English.
2 years of professional interpreting experience (immigration asylum community or government strongly preferred).
Deep cultural knowledge of Andean indigenous communities.
Strong grasp of interpreter ethics confidentiality and impartiality.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
