An accomplished Independent School in Wandsworth requires a warm and experienced Reception Teacher to join the Early Years team on a Part-Time basis with a January 2026 start. The Reception Teacher will take part in pre-term planning before the January 2026 start attend induction during January 2026 and commence teaching from January 2026. Reception Teacher key responsibilities
Lead daily phonics language and early maths sessions as the Reception Teacher.
Plan continuous provision observe and assess progress and use evidence to inform next steps as the Reception Teacher.
Work with families to support learning at home and coordinate transition into Year 1 as the Reception Teacher.
Engage in professional learning and mentor meetings starting around the January 2026 start as the Reception Teacher.

Professional development and team culture for the Reception Teacher:
The Reception Teacher will be part of a supportive team where coaching planning time and peer observation are regular features.
