Year 1 Teacher – Warm and Welcoming Primary School in Kensington

The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher you will play a key role in shaping pupils early primary experiences delivering a rich and engaging curriculum and supporting each child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress providing constructive feedback to drive development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support childrens learning and well-being.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through assemblies events and enrichment activities.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a teacher who:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Has experience teaching Key Stage 1 preferably Year 1.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed to fostering pupils academic social and emotional growth.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative forward-thinking team.
