LOCATION/DIVISION SPECIFIC INFORMATION
This exciting internship is located in Bordeaux France within Thermo Fisher Scientifics Materials and Structural Analysis Division. Our team here focuses on developing software applications for the Life Sciences Materials Science and Semiconductor industries.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop next-generation products
- Implement and test software features using C/Qt/Python/C#
- Participate in Agile development processes including SCRUM meetings

The internship position is offered to a motivated student wishing to participate in the development of a management system dedicated to the installation configuration and versioning of resources necessary for the execution of image processing algorithms both classical and AI-based.
The sought-after candidate should have a DevOps-oriented profile with strong skills in Python and C as well as good knowledge of C#/.NET. Sensitivity to continuous integration automation and software deployment issues will be particularly appreciated.
EDUCATION
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field with equivalent experience considered.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES
- Professional level English is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is based in an office environment with standard working hours. Occasional remote work may be possible depending on project needs.
