Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Firmware Engineer in San Mateo CA to develop software and hardware test infrastructure to support detailed testing and rapid iteration. Requires a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience designing and developing embedded systems from proof of concept to manufacturing including Proto EVT DVT and PVT phases; developing asynchronous firmware drivers for ARM microcontrollers; developing low power wireless systems for Wi-Fi commissioning and mapping applications; developing CI/CD Build Pipelines for automatic build Firmware upgrades and tests by integrating Jenkins Git and Slack platforms;evaluating alternative device platforms to ensure support of feature sets and compatibility with existing system; defining and developing manufacturing test software; and participating in the full development cycle for product shipping. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.

Salary range: $231340.00 - $289900.00/year
