Job Summary
ITU AbsorbTech is hiring a District Manager to join our team in Elk Grove Village IL. This position services a defined route of customers - including local businesses schools and government agencies - building lasting relationships through reliable high-quality service.
In this role you will:
- Manage Route Service and Sales Representative team activities to grow the business.
- Observe and analyze performance and behavior through ride-alongs and coaching coach and develop employees to meet or exceed performance goals and fully develop their skill sets.
- Perform sales activities to achieve revenue growth targets through district sales and customer retention.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all accounts through customer visitations.
- Establish and maintain a standard of perfect performance in the area of workplace and vehicle safety. Train motivate and create an environment of accountability for employees to maintain a culture where Accidents Are Unacceptable.
- Meet cost budgets and continue to improve our delivery costs.
- Communicate effectively with customers to be able to differentiate ITU AbsorbTech from the competition.
Schedule: 6am start time Monday through Friday. End time varies due to business needs. No weekends or holidays.
Pay: Compensation is a combination of salary and bonuses. Average total compensation targeted between $70k-$80k a year.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree in business administration Management or similar plus a minimum of three (3) years related experience is required or equivalent combination of education and business experience. Experience in the application of sales concepts and strategies in a business-to-business sales environment is required. Prior sales management experience environment is preferred. Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills leadership skills be well-versed in customer relations and possess solid business and organizational skills.

We have 15 facilities across the eastern US servicing thousands of manufacturers by providing reusable uniforms mops towels and mats. Since the mid-1990s weve been the top choice in environmental services by offering launderable absorbents replacing disposable products. Each year we recover over 200000 gallons of oil and solvents from our customers used products.
