Job Summary

CARPENTER

Thames Shipyard and Repair is looking for a reliable hard working carpenter to work at one of the largest commercial ship repair facilities between New York and Boston. Willing to train the right person.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm
Saturday 6:30am-12:00pm
Additional overtime available Monday-Saturday
Double time available Sunday

Responsibilities:

General carpentry
Working from scissor and boom lifts
Working in confined spaces with limited access througheighteen inch hatch
Climbing ladders
Heavy lifting able to lift at least 50 pounds

Requirements

Pre-employment drug test
Respirator fit test and physical
Willing and able to workoutside year round and in all weather conditions
Must have reliable transportation
