Job Summary
The Electronics Components Engineer provides technical expertise in the selection evaluation and implementation of electronic components used in products. This role ensures components meet quality reliability and regulatory standards while supporting cross-functional teams across product development manufacturing and quality assurance.

- Provide technical expertise in selecting and evaluating active and passive electronic components.
- Ensure components and suppliers meet quality and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to verify appropriate ratings and certifications for intended applications.
- Develop test and verification procedures for components.
- Evaluate alternate components as required.
- Coordinate component engineering efforts across all product lines.
- Interface with departments including R&D purchasing manufacturing quality and warranty.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology Material Science or equivalent.
- Five or more years experience in electronics product development.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles practices and theories.
- Proficiency with common test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes multimeters etc.).
- Knowledge of relevant UL CSA and NEC standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Methodical problem-solving skills and flexibility to handle shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
