Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Comprehensive Patient Care:
Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for patients of all ages ensuring their physical emotional spiritual cultural and environmental needs are met. - Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and support a team of caregivers collaborating with doctors specialists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care. - Patient and Family Education:
Educate patients and families on health management self-care and health promotion to foster better health outcomes. - Clinical Excellence:
Participate in shared governance peer review and professional development to promote a culture of clinical excellence and leadership. - Care Coordination:
Utilize care management principles to coordinate efficient and effective patient care services focusing on improving patient outcomes. - Professional Growth:
Contribute to the development of a healthy work environment and take responsibility for ongoing professional growth and leadership.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing (or compact state).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
