CMHA is looking to hire a Full-time Clinician I or II for our School Based Services Program. This position will be located at 255 Bank St. Waterbury CT 06702. Monday - Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM.
Compensation Range: Clinician I -The annual salary range for this position starts at$57000. Clinician I are eligible for a 5000k sign-on Clinician II -The annual salary range for this position starts at $68500. Clinician II are eligible for a $7000k sign-on Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience education and skills but also by maintaining internal pay equity. Position Summary:Serves as an active part of a multidisciplinary team that provides assessment and therapeutic services to adults children and/or adolescents who present with a wide range of significant behavioral health needs. Treatment is aimed at assisting individuals and/or families by helping them develop the skills necessary to improve their quality of life. Essential Responsibilities: - Maintains all trainings and certifications as required by program model.
- Completes documentation within designated timeframes as established by CMHA and external regulatory agencies.
- Performs comprehensive intake assessment that results in diagnosis and recommendations for psychiatric and substance abuse treatment for adults and/or children.
- Completes assessment tools integrates pertinent information to establish diagnosis and analyzes data to create clinical formulation within designated timeframe.
- Performs individual family and/or group treatment utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate positive strengthbased change.
- Develops achievable goals with client with measurable and behavioral objectives within designated timeframes. Monitors treatment progress and provide updates within identified timeframes and as clinically indicated.
- Collaborates with other providers by providing all pertinent clinical information in a timely manner.
- Responds to crisis situations and triages appropriately communicating clearly with internal and external providers/stakeholders to meet presenting client needs.
- Provides referrals and linkage to community and internal resources as necessary to address client need.
- Completes documentation within designated timeframes as established by CMHA and external regulatory agencies.
- Secures reimbursement for services rendered by submitting accurate documentation in a timely manner.
- Adheres to all state federal Joint Commission and other oversight regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Clinician I: Must have associates license (MFTA PCA LMSW); Must be eligible for LCSW LMFT LPC
- Clinician II: Must have a Connecticut license as a LCSW LMFT LPC Ph.D. or LADC as appropriate for services.
- Will be certified in MANDT first aid and CPR
- Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish/English)
- Valid Connecticut Drivers License
