Job Summary
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations. This role will oversee the general ledger ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic initiatives across the finance function. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes including preparation and review of financial statements.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants providing guidance and professional development.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit preparation and execution.
- Support budgeting forecasting and financial analysis efforts.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
