About the Role
Our OSHC Lead Educators deliver exciting and interactive activitiesto primary school-aged children in the Before School Care and After School Care setting.. Lead Educators will ensure all children feel empowered to reach their full potential in their physical and social growth. Our Educators play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds within our community with their safety and well-being at the forefront of all our activities. Collaborating closely with colleagues children and parents youll share your expertise provide support and ignite passions making their Before and After School care experience truly memorable.
Applicants will require an ACECQA-approved qualification at a Diploma level or above or working towards a Diploma or above.
You will be required to obtain a current Working with Children Card Employee and First Aid HLTAID012.

Safeguarding Children and Young People RequirementsAt the Y we are committed to empowering all Children and Young People to feel safe and be safe at the Y in their families and in their communities. As such we ensure that all of our candidates are appropriately screened (including police checks) to make sure that the right people are in the right roles. The successfully appointed applicant will be required to adhere to the Safeguarding Children and Young People policies and practices which include; safeguarding children and young people induction annual SCYP training programs and committing to upholding the safety and wellbeing of children and young people throughout terms of employment.
