Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer/Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in the USA. In this critical role you will be the primary technical expert partnering with our sales team to showcase the transformative power of Simbians Agentic AI SOC platform to prospective enterprises and MSSP customers. Your expertise will be crucial in demonstrating how Simbian can significantly enhance their security posture multiply analyst capacity and achieve superior security outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Leadership: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide deep technical expertise throughout the sales cycle serving as a trusted advisor to customers.
Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Deliver compelling tailored product demonstrations and presentations that highlight how Simbians AI Agents autonomously triage investigate and respond to alerts from various sources (SIEMs XDRs endpoint identity cloud network).
Proof of Value (POV) Engagements: Design plan and execute in-depth Proof of Value (POV) engagements working directly with customer security teams to demonstrate measurable benefits such as reduced investigation times higher accuracy and increased SOC efficiency.
Technical Diligence & Integration: Understand customer security architectures and challenges mapping Simbians extensive integration capabilities (e.g. Splunk Sentinel CrowdStrike AWS Okta Jira Slack) to their existing tool stack.
Problem Solving: Address complex technical questions regarding AI-driven security data privacy deployment models (on-premises or cloud) and compliance ensuring customer confidence in Simbians secure-by-design approach.
Market & Product Intelligence: Stay continuously updated on the latest cybersecurity threats AI advancements and Simbians evolving product features to effectively position our solutions.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product engineering and customer success teams to relay customer feedback and ensure successful implementations.
Qualifications:
Experience: 7-10 years of experience in a Sales Engineer Solutions Engineer or similar technical pre-sales role within the cybersecurity industry with 3-5 years of experience with SOC tools
Cybersecurity Expertise: Strong understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows common challenges such as alert fatigue and talent shortages and key security technologies (SIEM EDR XDR SOAR).
Cloud Security Knowledge: Proven experience and strong knowledge of cloud security platforms including AWS Azure and/or GCP and their associated security services.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with network engineering operating systems virtual machines containers and identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
Timezone Commitment: This role will primarily support customers across North and South America. Occasionally as needed you may need to help with customers outside this zone.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences from security analysts to C-level executives.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze customer requirements identify pain points and propose effective technical solutions.
Customer Focus: Experience working with enterprise and/or MSSP customers understanding their unique needs and delivering value.
Location Specific: Based in India with willingness to travel as needed within the region for customer engagements and events.
Language: Fluency in English is required.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related technical field is preferred.
