Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Planners to help keep production running efficiently in a precision manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Planner serves as the critical link between the shop floor engineering and scheduling ensuring every part tool and job moves through production accurately and on time. This position is ideal for individuals with machining or fabrication experience who thrive in a fast-paced team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review blueprints drawings and parts lists to determine routing and required operations.
Coordinate movement of parts materials and tooling through each stage of production.
Collaborate closely with machine operators and supervisors to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
Monitor in-process work orders and proactively resolve material shortages or bottlenecks.
Maintain accurate job routing and tracking within internal production systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in scheduling and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand manufacturing processes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with production tracking tools.
Knowledge of part flow materials management and job routing.
Self-motivated dependable and able to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
