Overview
An opportunity is available for an Air Testing Engineer to join a friendly and professional team. The role involves conducting air leakage tests on a variety of buildings and contributing to the energy performance documentation process. The position requires travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
Perform air leakage testing on site in accordance with industry standards.
Record and report test results accurately for inclusion in energy performance reports.
Liaise professionally with clients and site personnel to ensure testing is completed efficiently.
Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration standards are met.
Represent the company courteously on construction sites of various sizes.
Support the team with related services such as acoustic testing and ventilation commissioning (with training provided).
Requirements
Numerate and capable of understanding basic geometry.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
Basic IT proficiency including Excel Word and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to travel long distances and stay overnight when required.
Full UK driving licence (maximum of 3 penalty points).
Experience within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
Air testing qualification (ATTMA or iATS) is preferred but not mandatorytraining will be provided.
