Job Summary
Objective:
- Responsible for monitoring operations to ensure that all software products meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing quality control systems and procedures to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Establishing quality control standards and specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Monitoring and evaluating the entire production process to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and implementing quality control training programs to educate employees on quality standards processes and best practices.
- Coordinating and leading quality control activities such as inspections testing and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Analyzing quality control data and metrics to identify trends patterns and areas for improvement and prepare reports for management review.
- Maintaining documentation and records related to quality control activities including inspection reports test results and non-conformance reports.
- Overseeing supplier quality management processes including supplier audits evaluations and performance monitoring.
- Managing a team of QC professionals providing guidance support and performance feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or any related field.
- quality-related certifications (e.g. Six Sigma ASQ certifications) are preferred.
- Min. 10 years of experience including 2 years as Quality Control Manager.
- Proficiency in quality control quality assurance or a related role preferably in a manufacturing or production environment..
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in implementing and maintaining quality control systems and processes..
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements regulations or industry-specific standards.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in test management tools and bug-tracking systems.
- Proficiency with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
