Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech language and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each students specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- ASHA certified.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Florida.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
