Hotel Housekeeper
The Housekeeper cleans and maintains guest rooms and common areas including changing linens restocking amenities and performing general cleaning tasks like vacuuming and responsibilities also involve reporting maintenance issues maintaining hygiene standards managing cleaning supplies and providing good customer service to guests
Responsibilities:
- Restocking:Restock guestroom amenities such as toiletries drinking glasses and other supplies.
- General Cleaning:Dust and polish furniture vacuum sweep and mop floors.
- Waste Disposal:Collect and dispose of trash recycling and room service trays.
- Maintenance Reporting:Report any broken appliances light bulbs or damage to the maintenance department.
- Supply Management:Organize and restock cleaning supplies on housekeeping carts.
- Safety & Security:Follow all safety sanitation and confidentiality protocols respecting guest privacy and do not disturb signs.
- Customer Service:Respond to guest requests and inquiries courteously.
- Laundry:Assist with laundry duties including sorting washing drying and folding linens and towels.
- Lost & Found:Turn in any lost and found items to the appropriate
- Room Cleaning:Clean and sanitize guest rooms bathrooms hallways and common areas.
- Bed & Linen:Make beds change linens and replace towels.
Schedule:
- Full-Time : Monday- Friday(5 days per week 8-hour shifts)
The Foghorn Hotel operates365 days a year so open availability is required including evenings nights weekends and holidays. If youdo not have open availability this position may not be the right fit for you.

- Experience in housekeeping preferred.
- Must be dependable efficient and detail-oriented.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina for demanding cleaning tasks.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques.
