Title: Auto Body Technician (A-Tech) $150K 45% Commission Premium Independent Shop

Location: Clarkston MI

Overview:

Were partnering with one of Michigans top independent collision repair facilities a clean modern shop known for craftsmanship and consistency. Theyve built a reputation for quality over quantity and theyre looking for a true A-Tech to join their long-tenured team.

This is not a production-line role. Youll have your own space your own bays and the autonomy to work the right way with the equipment and support you need.

What Youll Get

Required Skills:
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair with an emphasis on structural repairs. Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment. Experience in frame and suspension alignment. Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals. Attention to detail and quality workmanship. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Relevant certification(s) such as ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred. Experience utilizing Car-O-Liner Chief Genesis or Celette highly preferred Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend stoop and reach overhead. We are seeking candidates for this position who meet specific qualifications. A valid drivers license is a mandatory requirement and successful candidates must also pass a mandatory drug test. Additionally a clean driving record is essential for consideration.
