Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your CAD management and design expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of CAD activities and deliverables for electrical or mechanical domains on critical projects. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (e.g. Design Teams Validation Team Costing Team) coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Train Design Engineers Project Sourcing Managers) and engage with external partners such as customers suppliers and subcontractors.

Youll specifically take care of **3D modelling annotations and 2D deliverables** while ensuring compliance with quality cost and delivery (QCD) commitments but also **manage the digital mock-up interfaces and configuration database.**

Well look to you for:

  • Performing 3D design annotations and 2D deliverables in alignment with QCD commitments and Metier rules.

  • Modelling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components within the Digital Mock-Up.

  • Conducting detailed designs for internal sub-systems and verifying digital mock-up consistency (e.g. clash checks).

  • Preparing and documenting Domain Design Reviews and addressing open actions.

  • Managing CAD deliverables including subcontractor contributions to ensure quality and timeliness.

  • Analyzing change request impacts and implementing approved changes within assigned zones.

  • Collaborating with sourcing industrialization and manufacturing teams during production ramp-up.

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferably applied to railway products).

  • 7 to 15 years of experience in CAD management and design activities.

  • Experience or understanding of digital mock-up tools and configuration management systems.

  • Knowledge of allocated volumes weight and interface management principles.

  • Familiarity with quality cost and delivery (QCD) frameworks in engineering projects.

  • A strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to change requests.
