The Company

Our client is a highly respected land development consultancy well-established New Zealand wide and known for delivering quality innovative projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence they are now seeking a talented Survey Tech to join their Christchurch - based team.

The Role

As a Survey Tech you will be involved in a wide range of land development projects from small-scale subdivisions through to larger developments. Youll work closely with planners engineers and clients to deliver accurate and efficient survey outcomes that contribute to successful project delivery.

You will receive hands on training and guidance from Senior Surveyors and ongoing performance based bonuses & benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork and office-based surveying across land development projects
Subdivision and cadastral surveys topographic surveys and set-out
Preparation and lodgement of survey datasets in Land online
Collaboration with project teams and clients to ensure project success
Ensuring quality standards and compliance with relevant legislation

About You

We are looking for someone with:

Relevant surveying qualification preferred but not essential
Experience in land development surveying 1 year minimum
Proficiency (or familiarity) with software such as 12d Civil 3D and Landonline ideal but not essential
Strong technical and communication skills
A collaborative solution-focused approach
