Inspectorsare responsible forconducting routine inspections testing service and preventative maintenance on Electrical Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines.
- Assistingour customers to keep their buildings and occupants safe and compliant by inspecting and testing fire alarm systems and associated devices to make sure they are fully functional andoperational
- Complete Inspection reports and documentswith proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy
- Follow andmaintaina highly structured inspectionschedule
- Input retrieve and archive inspection documents via laptopcomputer
- Complete assigned inspections on time
- Perform duties with the safety of yourself and your colleagues and customers in mind 100% of thetime
- Perform other duties asassigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstratea high levelof customerservice
- Ableto work well withothers
- Self-starterwhocaneventuallywork with little to nosupervision
- Strong organizational skills positive attitude and an ability to learnquickly
- Basic computer skills Microsoft (Excel Word Outlook) along withSmartPhoneskills
- Ableto follow verbal and writteninstructions
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to30lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders and willing to work withscaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet. Understanding this may includeworking within ducts crawl spaces above ceilingsetc.
- Ableto adhere to implement andalwaysfollow safety guidelines andprocedures
- Possess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets companyrequirements
- Able to pass a pre-employment background and drugtest
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints diagrams and operational/product manuals.
- Experience with handtoolsand barcode scanners.
- NICET II required
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $34.00-$42.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
