Job Summary

Seeking Application Support Lead for L2/L3 support team where you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across various aspects of application support for our client using various Monitoring tools to perform fault analysis failure avoidance and diagnosis and resolution for any impacting issues in a distributed environment. You will be working closely with development and engineering team to provide input on new functionality and system performance capacity management monitoring and testing of infra upgrades and platform releases.

Mandate:

* Willingness to work in rotational shifts

* Candidate must be working minimum 3 days in a week from office in hybrid support model Essential Skills:

* At least 5 years of experience in Operating System-Unix or Linux and Database-SQL

* Experience or understanding of log searches like Kibana

* Experience and understanding of Schedulers such as Control M or Autosys for Batch Processing

* Must have previously worked on ticketing tools like Service Now or Remedy or Jira

* Experience in ITIL ITSM and Incident Management

* Experience in Production Support preferably in Financial Domain

* Experience of troubleshooting issues by analyzing Application logs and interpreting root causes related to incident management


Good to have :

* Experience in Unix or Python Scripting

* Knowledge or experience in Alert Management tools like BigPanda Pagerduty etc.

* Knowledge or experience in Core Java Spring Framework Spring Boot Spring Integration

* Understanding/knowledge/exposure/experience of Synthetic monitoring Apica


Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution

* Good Communication Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to collaborative in a Global Delivery team that spans multiple locations


The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95000 and $135000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
