Job Summary

The SAP Functional Consultant Project Systems

Assignment Duties
The SAP Functional Consultants PS will become a memberofthe hypercare team for the project. The resource will.

Provide support for triagingofsupport tickets trouble shooting issue identification and defect resolution
Support the PMO in the prioritization and implementationofitems deferred to the post go-live period. This will include.
- o Configure S/4 with changes prioritized for implementation
Validate proposed functionality and alignment to leading/best practicesdesign specifically as it relates to Project Systems
Asset Accounting (AA) and Asset Retirement Obligation.

o Develop functional specifications for development objects
o Reviewing/updating test script and test cases identificationoftest data test execution test documentation and business sign off
o Update business process documentation and provide input to updated polices required to support newly implemented functionality
o Developmentofrisk mitigation strategies etc.
o Developmentofcommunication and any new or updated training material required.

Work in collaboration with the Business Process Lead and vendor lead informing the design development and configurationofthe SAP solution and its integration with SAP and non-SAP solutions.
Support the A2R team providing SAP knowledge/expertise/leadership.
Analyze end to end PS AA and ARO processes and identify areasofimprovement and how these can be addressed leveraging Standard SAP functionality.
Identify linkages to other key processes to support reporting.
Helpvalidate proposed functionality and alignment to design with the Systems Integrator and provide their experience in leading best practices.
Provide leadership related to business processes accounting principles systems configuration enhancements and data to enable related processes

Qualifications
1. A minimumof10 years hands-on experience in large project/program management with Government jurisdictions and or large private sector organizations.
2. Expertise and experience in SAP S/4HANA modules; Project Systems Asset Accounting and Asset Retirement Obligation as well as knowledgeofintegration to SAP Finance Controlling Accounts Payable Funds
Management SAP Certification PS and AA would be an asset;
a. Experience or Knowledgeofanyofthe following functions will also be an asset; Asset Planning Budgeting Settlement Close Out Asset Account Asset Retirement Obligation.
3. Extensive experience providing support during hypercare periodofa project implementation and transitioning to sustainment
a. Experience in troubleshooting problem resolution during post go-live
period
4. Expertise in configurationofS/4 HANA modules PS AA ARO as well as understanding the integration to FICO Materials Management.
5. Experience in delivering at least 2 end-to-end implementations. Implementation in a public sector environment with S/4HANA would be an asset.
6. Strong knowledgeoftest methodologies. Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes techniques tools across agile waterfall iterative methods and associated tools including PMBOK or SAP Activate Methodology.
7. Working knowledgeofSAP Solution Manager Change Request will also be an asset.
8. Ability to work in transformative programs.
9. Strong in process management and controls to minimize risks exposure.
10. Ability to lead efficient communication between all project stakeholders including internal teams and clients.
11. Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders.
12. Excellent written & verbal communication skills (comfortable & confident communicating at all levels including business partners leadership and vendors).
13. Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning skills
