Job Summary
We are currently hiring on-call Security Guards to support our client a global technology leader in e-commerce cloud computing digital media logistics and consumer products and services at their Downtown Toronto location. This role requires full open availability including evenings weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in corporate security with a strong background in identity and access management. Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential to succeed in this fast-paced professional environment.

Position Overview:
Location: Downtown Toronto
Must be available to work the following shift times:
- Monday to Friday: 0000 - 0800
- Monday to Friday: 0800 - 1600
- Monday to Friday: 1600 - 0000
- Saturday to Sunday: 0000 - 1200
- Saturday to Sunday: 1200 - 0000
Payrate: $19.63/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform access control provision duties verify visitor badges and employee badges.
- Escort medical staff including paramedics police and firefighters when required.
- Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
- Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
- Perform foot patrols inside the building on multiple floors.
- Tech savvy working on multiple systems.
- Assist client employees with inquiries
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Minimum 2 years of security experience preferably in a corporate or concierge environment
- Hands-on experience with access control systems and CCTV surveillance
- Strong understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and deliver outstanding customer service
- Flexible availability to work various shifts based on business needs
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced professional setting
