We are seeking a dedicated and organized Homework Center Teacher to support middle school students (Grades 68) during after-school homework sessions. The Homework Center Teacher will create a structured quiet environment that fosters academic focus organizational skills and independent work habits.
Supervise and support students in Grades 68 during Homework Center hours.
Help students stay organized by checking their binders and daily planners for accuracy and completeness.
Provide assistance with homework tasks as needed encouraging understanding and completion.
Maintain a quiet and productive environment conducive to learning.
Monitor student behavior and academic engagement during the session.
Communicate and check in with classroom teachers as needed to follow up on assignments or student progress.
Encourage students to develop effective study and time-management habits.
Experience working with middle school students preferably in an academic support or classroom setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage a small group of students in a focused environment.
Patience consistency and a supportive approach to academic guidance.
