Description:
The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) is seeking a motivated student for an internship within the Office of the Board of Commissioners. This role offers hands-on experience in research policy analysis and strategic engagement on key public issues including water infrastructure environmental sustainability climate justice and public health.
This is a unique opportunity for students who are passionate about public service environmental equity and inclusive governance. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in or has recently completed a degree program in public policy political science law or a related discipline. Strong research writing and analytical skills are essential along with a foundational understanding of government operations and policy development.
