Trainer (Remote & Onsite Training Experience Required)
Location: East Hartford CT
Pay Rate: $22.66 per hour
Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday standard business hours (no weekends)
Hybrid Role - Onsite & Remote Training Support

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Trainer to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both remote and in-person training delivery and a passion for empowering others through effective learning programs.

Reporting to the Training Supervisor this role is responsible for designing delivering and maintaining training programs that enhance employee performance ensure operational compliance and drive continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

Must-Haves to Submit

  • Recent training experience in an office environment
  • Bachelors degree(required)
  • Proven experience delivering both remote and in-person training
  • Experience with design development and evaluation of training programs

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective remote and onsite training sessions for new hires and existing staff
  • Develop and update training materials process guides and operational manuals
  • Partner with leadership to deliver refresher or remedial training for staff not meeting performance standards
  • Conduct training needs analyses and develop learning strategies aligned with program goals
  • Track and report training performance metrics trainee progress and post-training evaluations
  • Conduct pre- and post-assessments to measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple business areas
  • Collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure all training aligns with organizational standards policies and compliance requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Proven success facilitating virtual and in-person learning
  • Strong instructional design and curriculum development experience
  • Excellent presentation communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online training platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced evolving environment
  • Public sector or healthcare (Medicaid/CHIP)experience preferred
