About the role:

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:

• Performing general administrative tasks including stock control ordering receipting and dispatching of goods
• Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
• Processing counter sales
• Maintaining safety processes
• Assisting with merchandise campaign material
• Maintaining a welcoming friendly and well-presented store environment
• Loading and unloading trucks dispatching and unpacking orders and deliveries

We are keen to hear from jobseekers with a high focus on customer service problem solving skills the ability to think outside the square and get the job done. Youll also have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural addition you will demonstrate:

• Experience working within a sales environment
• Effective written and verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
• Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
