The IoT Team at Grab focuses on leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to enhance operational efficiency safety and user experience across various services. Their work includes AIoT (Artificial Intelligence on IoT) hardware and software development deployment and troubleshooting. The team contributes to projects such as the development of edge AI applications data analysis for IoT device performance and on-site technical support for device installations. They also play a role in initiatives like the Kartacam and Kartadashcam projects which aim to improve logistical accuracy and safety through street-level imagery collection and advanced dashcam features.
Get to Know the Role
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
Your traineeship supports the IoT tech team and works with both IoT engineers and IoT product managers. You will gain practical experience in AIoT hardware/software development and in-site deployment skill and capability.
Grab offers exposure to practical AIoT hardware/software development in a collaborative environment where trainees can build foundational skills and contribute to daily IoT product development and deployment.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will create applications/features/edge AI models development on the Grab in-house build IoT devices (Android system);
- You will perform data analysis for the performance of deployed AIOT device;
- You will be on-site tech supporting (including installation) for the deployment of AIOT devices.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You are a fresh graduate from the fields of Computer Science or Electronic Engineering or related major
- You have a keen interest in IoT or smart devices
- You have knowledge of coding logic
- You are familiar with AI tools.
