Job Summary
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of its Gas-Power Plant facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across all plant activities. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and a commitment to safety and performance.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations to ensure efficiency safety and reliability.
- Implement and monitor operational procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with maintenance engineering and HSE teams to ensure seamless plant performance.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety and environmental regulations.
- Support the Plant Manager in strategic planning and resource management.
- Lead and mentor operational staff fostering a culture of accountability and development.
- Participate in audits inspections and emergency response planning.
- Drive initiatives for cost optimization and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Industrial Management or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in plant or industrial operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Solid understanding of energy production processes and operational workflows.
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Romanian is required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CMMS and operational reporting tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certifications are a plus.
