Become a part of our dynamic team as an intern and develop hands-on expertise in applying advanced sample preparation techniques. This exceptional opportunity will involve working on ground breaking Broad Ion Beam Milling systems and Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs).
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of Application Scientist to explore the application of Broad Ion Beam Milling for Materials Science.
- Conduct extensive testing to define optimal milling parameters (geometry time beam energy) for a wide range of materials.
- Evaluation of the milling results using SEM and Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBSD).
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex scientific challenges.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to determine customer requirements and deliver high-quality data.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Materials Science Engineering Physics or a related field.
- Strong interest in surface characterization.
- Experience in Electron Microscopy is a plus.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
- Eager and driven to learn and contribute to innovative research projects.
