Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator

Were recruiting for a Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator to join us.

What youll be doing:

• Responding to employee queries via the Group Health & Safety helpdesk and escalating where needed
• Supporting the maintenance and accuracy of the Health & Safety management system
• Assisting health and safety activities for major projects under the guidance of the Head of H&S
• Tracking safety reports and helping resolve issues with relevant teams
• Logging and monitoring incidents and near misses supporting follow-up actions
• Contributing to the transition to a new digital reporting system
• Helping draft and maintain procedures aligned with policy and strategic goals
• Supporting the design and implementation of policies that promote fair treatment and positive outcomes

Qualifications :

Who were looking for:

• Foundational understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and compliance
• NEBOSH Certificate (achieved or working towards) or willingness to complete training in role
• Familiarity with incident reporting systems and investigation methods
• Awareness of health and safety policy development and management systems
• Understanding of risk assessment processes and stakeholder engagement
• Experience managing helpdesk operations and resolving queries
• Ability to support ergonomics-related queries and corrective action processes
• A proactive customer-focused problem solver who works collaboratively across teams
