Job Summary
We are seeking an organised and efficient Stores Operative to join our team in Bristol United Kingdom. As a Stores Operative you will play a crucial role in managing our warehouse operations ensuring smooth inventory flow and maintaining accurate stock records.
- receipting and processing of part deliveries
- collating and checking of parts for supply to the manufacturing area
- loading and unloading of deliveries and dispatch
- packing and dispatch of finished products including machinery
- general stores duties.
- Flexibility to work in other departments after suitable training with the opportunity to grow skills in different disciplines
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is preferred
- Proficiency in inventory management and stock control systems
- Basic computer skills for data entry and using warehouse management software
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical fitness to handle lifting carrying and standing for extended periods
- Forklift certification
- Ability to commute to our Bristol warehouse location
