Job Summary
Catch insert and pack finished products coming off the presses. Review final product performing a series of quality checks before loading in to trays or bins. Perform finishing make ready tasks prior to start-ups. Assist with machine make ready and clean up as needed. Operate the Segbert. Follow postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders and completing skid tags.
- Inspect product for quality defects and correct errors as they occur
- Pack band and/or sort product into batches packets and pallets
- Count trays on pallet and compare with shipping documents to ensure correct count/weight.
- Document progress and issues/resolutions to ensure proper reporting across departments/shifts
- Other duties as assigned
- Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. - continuously.
- Ability to exercise basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division.
- Ability to read a standard ruler.
- Ability to visually identify and inspect detailed product for defects.
- Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
- Ability to coordinate hand and foot movements to operate staple machine.
Additional Information :
**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.00- $20.40 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
